从测试成绩来分析，虽然Core i7 920拥有三通道内存的优势，但是在很多项目上已经落后于
Core i7 870，仅比Core i5 750稍好。究其原因一是默认频率较低，只有2.66GHz，而新的处理器均支持睿频技术，可以在测试中拔高频率以提高成绩；二是新处理器内置PCI-E控制器之后，延迟大大降低，在图形性能上更具优势。
